Entourage: The All Out Fall Out

I was on Entourage this past Sunday!

I am seen maybe 4 or 5 times on screen. Most of the time either blurry, cut in half, or with a drink in my face. But still, I can be seen!

I was wearing a black dress with a HUGE white bow (the dress was Valentino, which is awesome, and I looked pretty awesome cause I am amazing like that).

Next Tuesday my episode of Greek will be on. I am SO excited to see it. I really hope that I can be seen (I think I will be?).

90210 airing!

Last Tuesday 90210 aired the episode that I was in. I didn't watch it until today, but I can be seen fairly clearly which is AMAZINGLY exciting!

I am seen outside the bowling ally in one shot, right before it cuts to 2 of the main actors, I walk by in a yellow top. I am kinda the main person seen on screen in that shot (a little blurry, but still you can defiantly tell it is me).

The episode is called "Lucky Strike". I'm not sure yet if it is being aired online yet, but I am going to look around for it. If it is I will post a link.

Iowa

Recruitment.

Yeah, that happened.

It is an incredibly long and drawn out process which involves talking to many random girls and judging them based on talking to them for less then 5 minutes.

Fantastic.

Enough on that.

Post LA life has been busy, but incredibly boring at the same time. Hopefully things will pick up once/ if I get into a show this semester.

I am also hoping to get involved in some student films so... you know... there's that.

Last week I got a call from Greek and 90210 asking if I could work. Pretty much cried when I had to call them back and tell them I was out of state.

BUT I did see Dr. Horrible's Sing-along Blog! If you haven't checked it out, go do. Now. No joke.

That's really it for now. Updates are going to be pretty spares until the shows I worked on this summer start airing. Then I will post if I can be seen in any or not.

There is a preview for Greek on the abc family website which includes concert scenes of the Plain White T's singing Natural Disaster. I am in that scene, but my computer screen is too small for me to see if I am I blur in the background anywhere. But I am going to keep looking.

So if anyone sees that commercial and sees a hot pink blog with curly dark brown hair, that's me!

(Wow... I am famous).

Chicago Land

I'm back in Chicago.

Really nothing too interesting happening here. I have, however, decided to keep this blog going.

It was originally suppose to just document my exciting LA adventures, but I think the adventures of a sorority girl have the possibility of being exciting too. When I return to LA next summer I will return to talking about the life of an extra.

... also by keeping this going I can post if I see myself of any of the shows I have worked.

Exciting?
I think so.

Last Days

Stay Cool:

This shoot took place on Wed.

The scene we were shooting was a graduation scene, and I was one of the graduating students. It was another cattle call day... over 300 people.

We shot the scene outside and it was INCREDIBLY hot, and the graduation robes really didn't help. Well I guess they helped me not get burnt, so maybe they weren't so bad.

The shoot actually wasn't that bad. There were also a lot of celebrities on the shoot that day too.

I was positioned two people away from Hillary Duff. She talked to a little group of us that were around her about the earthquake. So that was cool. Also Josh Holloway was there and said hey to me and a few other girls. And that made me really happy.

Chevy Chase, Winona Ryder, and Sean Astin were there too.

Pretty.... pretty cool day.

I was in a group of people who were asked to come back the next day, but I didn't feel like driving all the way to where they were shooting again and I had already booked House for the next day.

House:

Worked this Thursday and Friday.

It was pretty much the same as when I worked it the first time. Although this time I was a doctor. I wore a white coat and felt super super special.

umm... really not much to say about the set. The guy who was dealing with the background was an ass, like the time before.

House just seems to take itself very very seriously. Everyone on the set is really professional, which is nice. But at the same time most sets are a little more relaxed and that just makes the day seems more fun.

Oh well.

There was one funny story on Thursday. Cell phones are not allowed on set and the guy who was handling us said that anyone with a cell phone that was on would be sent home. So 2 hours after this announcement was made some guy's cell phone goes off while they are in the middle of filming a scene in the set right next to our holding.

Instead of just turning the phone off and apologizing, this guy decides the best thing to do would be to try and cover the sound with his coat.

This doesn't work so well.

This guy gets the brilliant idea that is he makes MORE noise that it will cover up the sound of the cell phone and no one will know his phone went off. So he starts flapping his arms (I don't know why this helps) and coughing like crazy and stomping as he runs out of the sound stage.

Probably the funniest thing that I have seen happen on set.

The AD tracked him down, and he got to stay. But he wasn't called back for the next day.
I was cause I am super special like that and TOTALLY look like I am old enough to be a doctor. I don't look like I am 16 at all.

Yup.

Definitely look old enough to be a doctor.

But hey. I am not complaining. Work is work.
And now I'm done for the year.

Heading back to Chicago tomorrow.

Big Love

Worked Big Love today.

Super easy day. Showed up at 7:00am and was done by 9:30am.

I was a receptionist and had Journey stuck in my head... so while pretending to talk on the phone I mouthed the words to "Don't stop believing".

Yeah.

I am that cool.

There was also an earthquake today! I was in my apartment, and then all of a sudden everything was vibrating.

I thought it was cool.

Tomorrow I am working on a Movie called Stay Cool... it's with Hillary Duff.
Good times, good times.

90210

This was a night call.

Took place in a parking lot. My car was used as background for this scene, although it was just parked and not being driven.

The only really interesting thing that happened on set was one scene where this girl decides to wreck this car. She stomps on it with heels and then hits it with her bag. It was kinda fun to watch.

Although the my story about this set has nothing to do with the filming.

I arrived on set and parked in this parking lot, then walked over to where we sign in. There was an AD there who told me that since I was booked with a car I had to go park it on the other side of this parking structure.  So I went and did that... although when I got to the other side of the structure no one was there. So I went into the structure to turn around and go back where I came. As I was pulling out and making a left a car changed lanes into my lane and grazed the side of the car and then sped off.

Yeah.

Another hit and run.

The right front bumper is now scratched.

I returned to where holding was with my car, walked behind this one trailer and then proceeded to have a massive breakdown. Then I called my parents and broke down yet again.

I finally collected myself, went over to the AD and said I couldn't find where he wanted me to go, and then told him what had happened with the car. He told me had had been giving the wrong info and that my was suppose to go where I had it in the first place.

Wanna guess what I did after he told me that?

I got into my car... and broke down. Again.

Then all night people kept asking me what had happened (I guess it spread around set and whatnot) so all night I had to keep retelling the story and thinking about it.

Needless to say it was a very very very long and stressful night.

Also (icing on the cake) I was booked Monday for Transformers which I was PUMPED about. But then (after I got hit) I get a call from central that the shoot was canceled, and there was nothing else on the lines that night. So I have no work for Monday.

Again stressful stressful awful night for me.
