A quote I found today

I found this... and I love it.

There is just something so... perfect about it.

"I love Los Angeles. I love Hollywood. They're beautiful. Everybody's plastic, but I love plastic. I want to be plastic."

An update?

I have been on some other stuff... nothing worth posting or talking about.

None of it is worth talking about.

Greek images part 2

Here are the rest of the "me on Greek" photos.

Seen on Greek!

I was on Greek this week!

The episode is called "see you next time sister"

I flash up on screen a lot during the KT party, and then I am seen really really super fucking clearly in the "next morning" scene at the KT house.

I miss doing extra work, I am already trying to figure out what I'm going to do next summer.

I bought the episode on itunes and then made some screen shots. They don;t all fit in this post, so I am going to add the rest in a second one.

Entourage: The All Out Fall Out

I was on Entourage this past Sunday!

I am seen maybe 4 or 5 times on screen. Most of the time either blurry, cut in half, or with a drink in my face. But still, I can be seen!

I was wearing a black dress with a HUGE white bow (the dress was Valentino, which is awesome, and I looked pretty awesome cause I am amazing like that).

Next Tuesday my episode of Greek will be on. I am SO excited to see it. I really hope that I can be seen (I think I will be?).

90210 airing!

Last Tuesday 90210 aired the episode that I was in. I didn't watch it until today, but I can be seen fairly clearly which is AMAZINGLY exciting!

I am seen outside the bowling ally in one shot, right before it cuts to 2 of the main actors, I walk by in a yellow top. I am kinda the main person seen on screen in that shot (a little blurry, but still you can defiantly tell it is me).

The episode is called "Lucky Strike". I'm not sure yet if it is being aired online yet, but I am going to look around for it. If it is I will post a link.

Iowa

Recruitment.

Yeah, that happened.

It is an incredibly long and drawn out process which involves talking to many random girls and judging them based on talking to them for less then 5 minutes.

Fantastic.

Enough on that.

Post LA life has been busy, but incredibly boring at the same time. Hopefully things will pick up once/ if I get into a show this semester.

I am also hoping to get involved in some student films so... you know... there's that.

Last week I got a call from Greek and 90210 asking if I could work. Pretty much cried when I had to call them back and tell them I was out of state.

BUT I did see Dr. Horrible's Sing-along Blog! If you haven't checked it out, go do. Now. No joke.

That's really it for now. Updates are going to be pretty spares until the shows I worked on this summer start airing. Then I will post if I can be seen in any or not.

There is a preview for Greek on the abc family website which includes concert scenes of the Plain White T's singing Natural Disaster. I am in that scene, but my computer screen is too small for me to see if I am I blur in the background anywhere. But I am going to keep looking.

So if anyone sees that commercial and sees a hot pink blog with curly dark brown hair, that's me!

(Wow... I am famous).

Chicago Land

I'm back in Chicago.

Really nothing too interesting happening here. I have, however, decided to keep this blog going.

It was originally suppose to just document my exciting LA adventures, but I think the adventures of a sorority girl have the possibility of being exciting too. When I return to LA next summer I will return to talking about the life of an extra.

... also by keeping this going I can post if I see myself of any of the shows I have worked.

Exciting?
I think so.

Last Days

Stay Cool:

This shoot took place on Wed.

The scene we were shooting was a graduation scene, and I was one of the graduating students. It was another cattle call day... over 300 people.

We shot the scene outside and it was INCREDIBLY hot, and the graduation robes really didn't help. Well I guess they helped me not get burnt, so maybe they weren't so bad.

The shoot actually wasn't that bad. There were also a lot of celebrities on the shoot that day too.

I was positioned two people away from Hillary Duff. She talked to a little group of us that were around her about the earthquake. So that was cool. Also Josh Holloway was there and said hey to me and a few other girls. And that made me really happy.

Chevy Chase, Winona Ryder, and Sean Astin were there too.

Pretty.... pretty cool day.

I was in a group of people who were asked to come back the next day, but I didn't feel like driving all the way to where they were shooting again and I had already booked House for the next day.

House:

Worked this Thursday and Friday.

It was pretty much the same as when I worked it the first time. Although this time I was a doctor. I wore a white coat and felt super super special.

umm... really not much to say about the set. The guy who was dealing with the background was an ass, like the time before.

House just seems to take itself very very seriously. Everyone on the set is really professional, which is nice. But at the same time most sets are a little more relaxed and that just makes the day seems more fun.

Oh well.

There was one funny story on Thursday. Cell phones are not allowed on set and the guy who was handling us said that anyone with a cell phone that was on would be sent home. So 2 hours after this announcement was made some guy's cell phone goes off while they are in the middle of filming a scene in the set right next to our holding.

Instead of just turning the phone off and apologizing, this guy decides the best thing to do would be to try and cover the sound with his coat.

This doesn't work so well.

This guy gets the brilliant idea that is he makes MORE noise that it will cover up the sound of the cell phone and no one will know his phone went off. So he starts flapping his arms (I don't know why this helps) and coughing like crazy and stomping as he runs out of the sound stage.

Probably the funniest thing that I have seen happen on set.

The AD tracked him down, and he got to stay. But he wasn't called back for the next day.
I was cause I am super special like that and TOTALLY look like I am old enough to be a doctor. I don't look like I am 16 at all.

Yup.

Definitely look old enough to be a doctor.

But hey. I am not complaining. Work is work.
And now I'm done for the year.

Heading back to Chicago tomorrow.

Big Love

Worked Big Love today.

Super easy day. Showed up at 7:00am and was done by 9:30am.

I was a receptionist and had Journey stuck in my head... so while pretending to talk on the phone I mouthed the words to "Don't stop believing".

Yeah.

I am that cool.

There was also an earthquake today! I was in my apartment, and then all of a sudden everything was vibrating.

I thought it was cool.

Tomorrow I am working on a Movie called Stay Cool... it's with Hillary Duff.
Good times, good times.

90210

This was a night call.

Took place in a parking lot. My car was used as background for this scene, although it was just parked and not being driven.

The only really interesting thing that happened on set was one scene where this girl decides to wreck this car. She stomps on it with heels and then hits it with her bag. It was kinda fun to watch.

Although the my story about this set has nothing to do with the filming.

I arrived on set and parked in this parking lot, then walked over to where we sign in. There was an AD there who told me that since I was booked with a car I had to go park it on the other side of this parking structure.  So I went and did that... although when I got to the other side of the structure no one was there. So I went into the structure to turn around and go back where I came. As I was pulling out and making a left a car changed lanes into my lane and grazed the side of the car and then sped off.

Yeah.

Another hit and run.

The right front bumper is now scratched.

I returned to where holding was with my car, walked behind this one trailer and then proceeded to have a massive breakdown. Then I called my parents and broke down yet again.

I finally collected myself, went over to the AD and said I couldn't find where he wanted me to go, and then told him what had happened with the car. He told me had had been giving the wrong info and that my was suppose to go where I had it in the first place.

Wanna guess what I did after he told me that?

I got into my car... and broke down. Again.

Then all night people kept asking me what had happened (I guess it spread around set and whatnot) so all night I had to keep retelling the story and thinking about it.

Needless to say it was a very very very long and stressful night.

Also (icing on the cake) I was booked Monday for Transformers which I was PUMPED about. But then (after I got hit) I get a call from central that the shoot was canceled, and there was nothing else on the lines that night. So I have no work for Monday.

Again stressful stressful awful night for me.

Mission Accomplished

Greek:

I worked Greek Monday and Tuesday as an engineering student at a KT party. I had to wear this HORRIBLE pink sweater cause we were all suppose to be nerds... it was terrible, but I dealt with it.

I had an amazing time. The crew was really really nice. Also I made friends with this one extra who was also friends with Aaron Hill (Beaver on the show) so I got to talk to Aaron for a while which was really cool. He is such a sweet guy.

The first day I also kinda met Scott Michael Foster (Cappie). He turned to me and asked me something about who knocked some lights down and I said "that guy". That's right. I am SO cool.

Also at one point they thought he smiled at me... and I geeked out. (I have a huge crush on Cappie.... could ya tell? He is SO cute i person... I can't help being a little fan girl.)

I also kinda sorta met Clark, who plays Dale and Jacob (Rusty). Clark asked me if I had a cigarette... and I said no, no I didn't. And I as I was walking by Jacob and I smiled at eachother... good times.

The guy who plays Ben Benette was also there and it took everything in my power not to say "Ben Benette" in a disapproving manner (Meggie and I do this all the time cause Ben Benette thinks he is all cool, but he is not. I mean I'm sure the actor is... but the character? Nope.)

The first day The Plain White T's were there performing on the show. They played "She's a natural disaster" and part of "It's our time now".

...for parts of each song I was placed as front row center. The band was less then one foot in front of me. Kinda amazing.

Also I was selected to be a "kissing couple" for day 2 (which meant that I got a $25 pay bump). I had to kiss this guy super awkwardly. We were told that since we were nerds that we didn't know how to kiss so we just pecked a few times. I was also told to keep my arms and legs super straight and kind of spazz as we kissed.... so I did spazz. Hurray for looking like a geek on national TV! (the kissing scene actually took place on day 2).

Day 2 was more partying i the KT house. I was also selected to be one of 5 people that comes back the day after the party takes place to help clean up. I was the only girl and was placed in front for this scene, so I will fo shizzle be seen clearly on camera. Also since this was suppose to be a different day I was NOT in the ugly ugly pin sweater. I was in a normal pink shirt... so I was happy.

Talked a little more to Aaron the second day and he kinda showed me a few secret things on set. He was showing me what was in the closet of the KT house... like random props and pool balls (I was seriously considering stealing one... but couldn't think of a way to take it without anyone noticing). Also the KT yard is COVERED in lawn gnomes, and that made me really really really happy.

I also talked a little more with Scott on day 2. One of the lines when we return to the house and are trying to get the KT's to forgive us is that we made them a DVR that records porn. During rehearsal for the scene Scott added in the line "Even her?" pointing at me. Then told me later when they were doing the turn around of the scene that he was going to add that in there. It made me very happy :)

Also when leaving set for the day I passed him and we said good night to each other. Again... I was happy.

I was suppose to be recalled on the show for Thursday, but the casting director said that since the scene they were shooting took place in another place in the same episode, that they couldn't use me. But I a now "on her list" of people to call for the show. (Great... now that I only have 1 week left here).

Just want to note. I fully realize that this part of the entry I am being a total nerd and geek and fan girl, but Greek is my favorite show and it was my goal for the summer to get on it. So I am allowed to be as geeky and I want.

Hannah Montana:

Worked this on Wed.

It was a 1000 person call.

No. Seriously.

I asked one of the AD's how many people where there and he said over 1000.

I was part of the crowed for a Hannah Montana concert. Which was a SUPER easy day. I sat in a chair all day and watched Miley sing "best of both worlds".

Actually it was really cute. There were a BUNCH of kids there and they pulled most of them to go up front and watch. In between shots instead of going and sitting with the crew she was talking to as many fans as she could. She also was teaching them a dance.

That was really nice to see and made me respect her a little more.

Terminator: Sara Conner Chronicles:

This was Thursday working at Warner Brothers Studios.

At first I was a nurse in a hospital scene and then I was parking lot atmosphere. They used my car for the shoot.

Really not much to say about it.

However last night Al tells me that there is a big scratch on the car... which wasn't there before. I don't know what happened. I don't know if someone hit it, or if the AD did something to it.... anyway I am out over $400 because of this scratch.

...fucking sucks.

Tonight I work 90210.

The Perfect Age of Rock and Roll

Worked this guy Thursday night.

Shooting took place at some really creepy monastery which everyone said was haunted.

This shoot was kinda disorganized. It took nearly 4 hours to get all the extras through wardrobe and hair and makeup. It wasn't that the call was huge... it's that there was 1 girl doing wardrobe and she went through every item everyone brought piece by piece and then checked and double checked them.

I ended up in this snake print red sparkly posh spice dress. It was amazing.
...I took a picture with my phone. I'll see if I can figure out how to upload it.

So after all of that we just sat around for 4 more hours doing nothing.
(They were shooting other scenes that didn't need extras.)

Finally around 3am we were brought in for shooting. It was a scene around a pool and we watched as some guy... I guess a in a band or something... threw a chair into the pool. Then his friend goes after him and yells at all the guests.

He improved this... and one time he decided it would be a good idea to take a champaign bottle and throw it where people were sitting..... without any warning. Luckily the bottle didn't break or hit anyone in the head, but we were pretty pissed off he did that. It came REALLY close to hitting a few people and I was close enough that if that bottle had broke, I probably would have gotten cut by glass.

Now I am all for being in the moment and doing what feels right and creativity and whatnot, but not when it endangers people. Also there was a pool in the same general area! He could still have thrown the bottle... but done it in the pool and NOT risked hitting people.

Dumb dumb dumb.

Next week I have a feeling is going to be a good one. I am working Greek on Monday and Tuesday and then Hannah Montana the Movie (oh boy!) on Wednesday.

Heros

Worked on Heros today.

Nothing really special to talk about... the main cast was not shooting today.

I worked as a "lab tech". I wore a white coat and felt all official and whatnot.

Walk in a lobby a few time... and that was it.

Around 6ish they released a few people but asked all the "lab tech's" to stay... but then they never ended up using us. But I got almost an hour of overtime, so I am not complaining.

Also I heard that there was a possible recall for Monday... but we will see.

Tomorrow I am working on some movie called "The Perfect Age of Rock and Roll". It's a night call which is gonna kinda suck.

Looked it up on IMDB... no one famous is in it.

Oh well. Work is work.

Touristyness and Bollywood

This weekend:

My parents came into town this weekend. So we did super touristy things all weekend. Saturday we drove down Rodeo Drive, ate at In and Out (by the way... the veggie burger there? Not actually a veggie burger. Just a burger with no patty), and when to go see the Grauman's Chinese Theater with the hand prints and whatnot.

It wasn't neatly as big as I thought it would be. Also there were SO many people there. It was packed with tourists! Also there were people dressed up in costumes all around trying to get people to take pictures of them (little bit more of a story on this later on).

So we looked at all the handprints. I was searching for Audrey Hepburn... but I guess she didn't have her handprints there which made me really sad. BUT we did find Marilyn Monroe's which was cool to see.

And fun fact, my hands are EXACTLY the same size as hers. Same size palm, same finger length.... exactly exactly the same. So that was cool and also OBVIOUSLY means that I was Marilyn Monroe in a past life or something crazy and stupid like that.

The next day we checked out Venice Beach. I really liked it. I loved all the shops and whatnot... bought some pretty earrings.

But I am just going to throw it out there... looking at bongs with your parents?
... a little awkward.

Damn Love:

Worked this Monday at LAX. And guess what... IT WAS A BOLLYWOOD MOVIE!!!

Hilarious... just.... hilarious.

There was one scene where the actors were walking out of the airport... and all of a sudden they just break into dance for a few seconds. Then just go on like nothing happened.

Love it.

The craft was great, we had Indian food for lunch and there was AMAZING chai tea :)

But Monday was not all dancing, tea, and rainbows.
Oh no.
It was LAX so something shitty HAD to happen.

At the top of the day there was a sign that said "EXTRAS!" on it. So I pulled over and asked one of the crew guys where I should park and he said (and I quote) "You see that parking structure over there? Parking structure number 4, park there".

So like the good little lemming doing what I was told, I parked in parking structure number 4. Fine. Done. Whatever.

At the end of the day I go to leave and the cashier tries charging me $30. I told him I was with "Bollywood Hollywood" (the production company) and that I was not suppose to be charged. I even showed him my work voucher to prove I was with them.

But that didn't do any good. So I had to go park my car again, and run over to find someone on the crew who could help me. There was another women (the most obnoxious women ever by the way) who was in my same situation. We found one of the crew to help us.

Then he proceeded to argue with the manager of the cashiers department, trying to tell them that the production would pay for it later and just to bill them, but some how that didn't work and the parking place couldn't do that. So I got stuck with this "PTP" which is basically a bill that I have to go and try to get voided.

So I called in today to try and do that, and the woman told me that I have to write a letter to LAX and it can't be done over the phone....

ARG.

SO frustrating.

Hate it.

Hate LAX.

Again... Arg.

But I am working Heros tomorrow, so hopefully that will be fun, and I won't have to pay $30 for someone else's screw up.

House and Monk

House:

Worked this on wed.

This was an.... interesting day.

I was originally booked as a receptionist and suppose to come to set at 5:30pm. At 10:50 am I get a call saying that my category was changed to "hospital visitor" and that I was now to come in at noon.

I was in bed when I got this call. It usually takes me a good hour to get ready and then I like to give myself another hour to drive wherever it is that I am going (traffic is a bitch). So this late of notice= not cool.

I found out later that the production was running behind that day and they moved the scene which I was booked on to another day (which I was not called back for... the production only likes to call SAG members back).

I got there... right at 12. Then wardrobe yelled at me for not having the correct cloths. The message I was given was "dress for fall" and when I got there she yelled at me for not dressing for "winter". So she game me the ugliest grey sweater known to man.

Oh well. It happens.

A little after that I was put on set to work. I saw Hugh Laurie which made me super happy, and then I also saw Kal Penn (Kumar from Harold and Kumar) so that was pretty cool. So I worked for about half an hour, then was told to go back to holding (which was part of the set... so that was actually pretty cool, hanging out in the House hospital :) ). Then I did nothing the rest of the day (which was about 6 hours).

I was also an incredibly stupid because I had forgot my book in my car. So I was stuck reading a Cosmo magazine for 6 hours. And let me tell you... a Cosmo may be fun for an hour to glance through... but reading it cover to cover? Not so much.

At lunch though I did get to walk around Fox Studio lot, and I found the lot store where I bought "The Seven Year Itch" for $7 (Employee price bitches!).

It wasn't the best set I have worked on, the production team seemed super serious, but it was fine. I would work it again if given the chance... however I would just remember to bring a book!

Monk:

Worked this yesterday at Paramount Studios.

This was suppose to take place in some little russian part of San Francisco, so wardrobe dressed me in this CRAZY european ugly outfit. Kinda hysterical.

What was kinda fun about this shoot was that I will be seen on camera. Maybe not super clearly... but I will be seen. At one point I walk in front of the camera before the actors arrive at their positions and I was used in every angle of the shot. So that is kinda cool.

The AD kept telling me that I did a good job and whatnot cause he was using me ALL DAY and I had to keep running (in heels) to get back to my first position from where I ended up so he appreciated that. At the end of day he told me that if he had had any extra SAG vouchers I would have gotten one... but he didn't. That was kinda upsetting. I still haven't gotten any! I was really hoping that by the end of the summer I would have at least 1. But I only have 3 weeks left here, and I am not sure if it is going to happen.

One thing that sucks about working at Paramount is that they often make you do a "walk away lunch". Which means that kraft doesn't provide lunch for you, and you have to go to the cafeteria ad buy your own lunch. Only we got released for lunch around 4, and the cafeteria really didn't have much as far as food goes (I ended up eating a pre-made sandwich that wasn't so good).

Then me and a few other extras went to explore the lot a bit. We found the studio store and I almost got this Audrey Hepburn movie box set... but the cashier wouldn't give me the employee discount and I didn't feel like spending the entire $50 bucks on it.

Couldn't book work for myself today, but Monday I a working on something called "Damn Love".

Dexter

Worked Dexter today in Long Beach.

I had a hell of a time finding where the set was. The address that was given to us was 300 Ocean Ave in Long Beach... but the thing is the entire convention area is 300 Ocean Ave so I was driving around this big area for a while before I found set.

Actually I found it at one point, but I was on the other side of the lot and asked this one guy if it was the Dexter lot, and he said no so I drove away.

I found it though, and I wasn't too late.

Other then that it was a pretty good day... long, but still good.

The first part of the day (which was most of the day) I was a person at some Cuban festival. This consisted of me walking around and watching this one guy do magic tricks. Doing this scene lasted pretty much the entire day.

The second part of the day (which only took about an hour and a half to film) was at some outside bistro on a pier. I was a waitress.

They had me go through hair and make-up which was kinda fun (they didn't really do anything, just touch up my cover up and put my hair in a pony tail... but whatever). ALSO while I was getting this done I was in the trailer with Michael C. Hall which I thought was pretty cool. He was one chair over from me, but he seemed all super serious and not wanting to talk so I didn't really get to meet him.

It was a pretty good day, I was in the sun a lot which is draining and Long Beach is far but I got lots of over time and pay bumps for the day so I can't complain.

Tomorrow night I am working on House.

I am way excited.

Life

Worked on Life today, which shot in Long Beach.

It was a super easy day. It was a re-shoot of a scene they had done before. The actors for the show weren't there, they just needed their stand ins.

I sat in my car all day and read. So it was super super easy.

umm... nothing really exciting happened. Except that this weird guy who I don't remember some how knew my name. Which is weird.

Maybe we met on a set before, but still it's weird when someone who you don't remember knows your name.

Also he was kind of a strange guy.

Which doubled the creepy.

Tomorrow I have to drive back to long beach to work Dexter.

Which means I need to go put more gas in the car. Gas average here right now is about $4.67.

The 4th

I tagged along with Alfie for the 4th. I would have rather made my own plans and whatnot... but shit happens.

We went to this AMAZING house in Pasadena. Seriously, this place was incredible. It was on this hill overlooking... I don't even know... the valley maybe? Anyhoo.... You could see for miles and miles and it was incredible.

We hung out in the pool most of the day, then we all played Taboo. Which I failed at. Just fail. I don't want to talk about it.

Then we moved on to catch phrase... which was did slightly better at.

Afterwards we all ate, then went to the roof to watch fireworks.

Again. Amazing.

We could see at the very least 20 different fire work shows going on all around us. There was also one that was really close to us too, which was great.

One day I am going to have my own mansion in Pasadena... or I will just live in a shitty box the rest of my life.

Either works.

FUCK THE BACHELORETTE

I was a paid audience member for The Bachelorette today.

It was TERRIBLE.

Seriously AWFUL.

They told us our call time was 2:30, so I got there at about 2:15 (we are suppose to report to set about 10 minutes early as just kinda a rule).

They put us all in a line outside of the studio to wait to go in. We stood in line in over 100 degree weather with NO shade and NO place to sit for 2 and a half hour before they finally let us into the studio.

They also took our cell phones away form us right when we got there GUARANTEEING that I would not be able tog et work for tomorrow (Central posts most of it's stuff at 2:30).

Then when we went in and they sat me in  the back row in the corner (the worst seats even though I was one of the first 20 people in line). So I probably won't even be seen on camera at ANY point.

Also they had a "wait list" for the bathroom so I wasn't able to go for over 4 hours.

It was HORRIBLE.

I am INCREDIBLY sunburnt.
And I almost threw up and passed out from the heat.

As a result of today I am going to boycott The Bachelor.

I'm sorry... you can't just treat people like that. We may be part of the "scenery" for the show... but we are still living breathing human beings and The Bachelor completely ignored that.

I'm going to write NBC or whatever company owns that show... and I am NEVER going to watch it again and encourage others not to.

FUCK the bachelorette.

By far THE WORST day here so far.

Hella, Malibu and Melrose

Saturday night I hung out with a girl I met on set. We went to this party (ended being only 6 people... and only guys). All the people there were from Northern California and every other word out of their mouths was "hella". This is probably the worst word ever. It was super annoying to hear all night. I donno. There's just something about it that makes the person saying it just sounds like a total and complete tool.

And no body likes tools.

Nobody.

Sunday:
Went to a beach in Malibu with. It was really really pretty. We were watching some of the surfers which was fun, and then we decided to go into the ocean and whatnot. Got carried away by a few waves but it was all good.

Then we decided that we wanted sushi so we typed that into the Garmon, and it tooks us to this crazy place which we had to drive through Tapanga canyon to get to (which was a really long drive through a canyon and up a mountain area)... and then the place ended up being expensive so we didn't eat there and headed to a place down the street from me. But it was an adventure, and prompted some good conversations about Boy Meets World.

Oh Cory and Tapanga, what an amazing couple you were.

Monday:

Today Hillary and I went shopping on Melrose. It was fun for a while and there were some really cool shops, but after a while everything all kinda started to look the same. Tye dye is back in... who knew?

And now I am watching Mean Girls.

Tomorrow I am going to be a paid audience member for The Bachelorette. I guess it's going to be some sort of reunion show or something. That's the only reason I think that they need to have an audience.

And yeah... a lot of audiences for TV shows are payed extras. Like Deal or No Deal. The audience for that is all people who are paid to be there.

AND you know those commercials for movies where they show people who have just seen the movie saying "It was great! I loved it! I would go see it again!"
... paid actors.

Hollywood is so fake.

But I kinda love it.

Suit Life again

Wed, Thurs, and Fri I worked Suit Life again.

Thursday was a super short day, only about 3 hours.

Friday we shot the rest of the show. There was a classroom scene that we did, I was next to Cole and behind Dylan so I will probably be in the shot, and then we shot the rest of the show in front of the studio audience.

When the audience is there, there is alway a guy who kinda keeps them entertained in between shots. This week the guy who was entertaining them just went on pretty much a sexist rant. He was saying things like "all you young women in the audience better listen to your moms so that you learn how to cook and set a table". Then he brought out a football and started saying "Ok, well all the boys know what this is... but the girls don't" or "The boys can catch this.... but the girls can't".

He just went on and on, and it really really started to bother me. He was talking to a bunch of little kids... you just don't say stuff like that. The rest of the girls and I were really irked by him.

Anyhoo because next week is the 4th, Suit Life is taking a week off. This means I have to find my own stuff through central or Sande Alessi for next week.

blah blah

Not much going on this week.

I couldn't find any work for Monday or Tuesday. The rest of the days this week I am working on The Suit Life again.

...it kinda looks like they are gonna call us back every week for that show, which I am super ok with. I'm featured background on the show (so I am seen on camera a lot) and it pays a lot more then other jobs (not much over time... but I'm fine with that).

Other then that life is boring.

I want to see walle this weekend!

Lots-o-Stuff

Fence Walker:
This was Thursday night. I really didn't want to work this one because:
a. I wasn't feeling too hot
b. I knew it would be a cattle call and I wouldn't exactly be missed
c. I had a morning call the next day
d. The shoot was super far away

...so I called my calling service to see if I could get out of it, but they wouldn't let me cancel.

It took me 2 hours in rush hour traffic to drive to the site. I ended up being half an hour late because of all of the traffic.

I got there.... waited around for an hour and a half, and then we finally started shooting.

We spent literally 10 hours shooting the SAME 60 seconds of dialouge. It was rediculous. I thought it was THE STUPIDEST thing ever and the biggest waist of time.

The cast couldn't even get their lines right. I guess I could understand when it was early in the evening. But after 10 hours of saying THE SAME EXACT LINES some of them STILL couldn't get it right.

It was rediculous.

So I got out of there at 5:00 in the morning (even though they probably had everything they needed by 1:00am). I drove to the disney studios and slept in my car for about 2 hours.  After that it just got too hot in the car for me to be in there anymore, so I drove to starbucks and got coffee, and got a redbull.

Suit Life:

We actually shot the thing this time (Friday). We started with rehearsals, and then started shooting.

Around 3:45 they brought in the live studio audience which was really fun. For the first few hours they seemed really enthusiastic and that was fun, but after a while I could tell they were kinda getting tired, and their energy dropped.

It was kinda cute though cause when the audience was there the twins would kinda show off and try to act super cool, like kids do when they wanna show off.

Really don't have much to say about the shoot other then that I learned from one of the regular extras that everyone was super glad that Ashley Tisdale left the show. I guess she was super spacey and hyper and would slow the shooting process down. Also they were saying that she was a bitch.

I love learning gossip like that.

I am hoping that they call us back to do that show again because I had a lot of fun working on it. The cast and crew on that show were super nice, and also it's an AFTRA show so it is a higher pay.

Hollywood Improv:

Went to this last night with Hillary. It was really great to see her again.

The comics were hit or miss. Some were really great, but others were just terrible. Although that may have had to do with the fact that it was a very small crowd so there wasn't a lot of energy in the room.

The headliner that night, I can't remember his name, started off pretty good... but towards the end he just made the show super super depressing. It was just really really awkward to watch.

But still... I had fun, and it was something that I hadn't done before.

Hillary and I also decided that we are going to go to Disney together.

I am pumped.

Suit Life

Worked "The Suit Life On Deck" today... which is a spin off of "The Suit Life with Zack and Cody".

It's the same show... minus Ashley Tisdale and now it takes place on a boat.

I donno. I didn't write it.

ANYHOO, we weren't actually shooting today. They called about 15 people in for an "interview", which turned out to be less of an interview and more of a "let's line everyone up and pick the ones who look the youngest".

I was one of the 6 chosen to stay, which was pretty cool. I guess looking 14 pays off.

The actors ran through each of the scenes for the show... the background was in about 3 scenes.

It was fun to be on a sound stage cause I hadn't worked on one before. The set for the show is really cute. We worked on the "Sky Deck" which was really really cute. It's like the deck of the boat, with a hot tub and lounge chairs. I didn't get to go into the hot tub though... which made me sad.

The crew was super nice and so was the cast. We got to talk to some of them a little which was pretty cool.

There are about 1,000,000 little tweens who are probably super jealous of me right now.

We actually shoot the show on Friday. Some of it will be with a live studio audience, so I think that will be a lot of fun. I've heard that the audience goes crazy on these shows... so it will be interesting.

I'm working some movie tomorrow... I am just hoping that it doesn't go too late. Otherwise I will be dead on Friday.

1000 Words

Worked an Eddy Murphy film today called 1000 Words.

Arg.

It was a cattle call, meaning there was over 300 extras.

It was filmed at Santa Monica Pier which was nice cause it's 2 miles away from my house. But still it wasn't the best day ever.

My call was 7:30am, but they didn't even start bringing people over to set until 10:00am. Then they needed people to ride the roller coaster and the ferris wheel. I happily volunteered for that. It was actually pretty fun for a while. Just kinda chilled on the ferris wheel. But after about 3 spins on it they decided they didn't need us anymore so they told us to just go back to the holding area.

...I sat in holding for the next 8 hours (minus the 30min they gave us for lunch... which was late and the food was questionable). We would MAYBE see a PA around every 2 hours and would ask them what to do/ if they needed us. (This wasn't all 300 people that were sitting around all day... maybe about 150. They obviously overbooked).

They didn't.
But we were still to wait there.

Then they decided that they needed us for a beach scene, and so the brought a bunch of us down to the beach (lucky me... I was one of the 70 people chosen while everyone else got to go home).

Then they put me in a position on a play ground... but then didn't give me ay direction. So I did what any normal person would do.

I found the swing set and started to swing.

When it became obvious they weren't even going to see me in the shot (the camera was actually facing the opposite direction. It looked like they had no intention of filming facing me... mostly because the sun was starting to set and they wouldn't have time to switch positions) me and a few other decided it was time to go back to base camp and check out.

And I did.

Arg.

Long ass boring day.

Didn't even really see Eddy Murphy, maybe from far away. But I don't think that counts. Also we all got a big talk from the assistant directors not to approach him because yesterday there were some extras who were trying to pitch him scripts. Also there were a bunch of rumors floating around that he hates extras (understandable).

Tomorrow I am working The Suit Life of Zack and Cody because apparently I look like I am 14. I'm suppose to be one of their classmates. I know I look young... but I think 14 is pushing it.

Oh well... it's a job.

The Starter Wife and Californication

Starter Wife:

So I thought this was going to be a pretty cool shoot. Starter Wife is Debra Messing's new show and I think she's pretty funny. Also it was a later call (1:00pm) and the rumor was that we were going to be done by midnight.

Yeah... that was a lie.

It started out fine. We did a scene where we were watching a bad movie, and we moved through that pretty fast. Then there was an airport scene. I was a flight attendant. The costume was super cute. Very hot, with INCREDIBLY uncomfortable black pumps, but still cute.  I have no camera, so I have no pictures of it. Although I do walk right in front of the camera so I might be seen on the show.

They moved pretty fast though those scenes. Then we got ready for an "upscale shoe store" scene. We were suppose to be shoppers in the store while Debra Messing was trying on shoes or something like that.

Anyhoo, they called in about 25 people to  be apart of this scene. We spent forever getting ready for it. There were a few girls who went through hair and make-up for it. I didn't have to, but wardrobe did make me wear 4 inch heals that were half a size too big on me and cut into my foot. Well after we all spend about an hour getting ready for this thing and get to set, they decide to only use 5 people. I did get to be one of the 5... but still. I felt bad for the other girls that they made wait around and whatnot.

Also once they started filming they couldn't decide what they wanted us to do. At one point they told us to be talking and picking up all these different shoes, then we weren't suppose to touch the shoes, then we weren't in the shot, then we got put back in the shot and had to play with the shoes again. It was just very unorganized, we did about a million takes of it (keep in mind again I am wearing the world most uncomfortable pair of shoes... and that my feet were already throbbing for the ones they made me wear in the airport scene). Also it got crazy hot in the set... and they wouldn't give us a break to go grab water. So half the time I felt like I was going to pass out.

Then we moved to an outdoor mall scene (I got to wear flats... thank God). It took them forever to film the scene... which just consisted of Debra and her 2 friends walking in a straight line in the mall. They must of spent 2 hours on it. And again they didn't know what to do with the extras. First they wanted us all walking, then no one could walk and we stood, then there were way too many people so they took some out, then they wanted to try it with all the people back in... it was just very frustrating.

After that there was another scene they shot outdoors. At this point it was 1:00am... and freezing. They spent 2 hours shooting that one as well. Also, again, they had no idea what they wanted to do with the extras.

It was just super frustrating. I didn't get home until 3:00am... and I had a 9:30am call time for the next day.

Californication:

Was a Catholic school girl again, and there were a lot of the same people who had been there the time before, which was nice. This, however, was a much smaller call. Also the day was much shorter, from 9:30am- 2:30ish. This was amazing cause currently I am running on about 4 hours of sleep.

I really like working this show. The crew is super friendly, and they know what they are doing/ what they want. I am thinking that they are just going to call back the same people to shoot all the school scenes for this show (cause they already have our sizes and also it's always the same school... so the same people are going to be there). So I am hoping to work this a few more times this summer.

That's about all I got.

I need a nap.

Entourage and True Blood

Entourage:

This shoot took place on Friday at the Beverly Hills Hilton.

This shoot was so much fun to be on. The crew was so unbealivably nice to all of the extras and seemed really excited to do the scenes we were shooting (most production crews aren't too super nice to the extras so this was a really nice shoot to be on).

Spoiler:

The scene we shot took place at a sweet sixteen party. Vincent is singing "You're just too good to be true" to the birthday girl (who was super goth so it was pretty funny) for some extra cash, only in the middle of the song Vincent's brother (who is drunk) starts singing with him and then throws up on the birthday cake.

It was really really a fun scene to watch, which made the shoot even better. Also I had a super great position in the shot. I was standing right behind the birthday girl and her mom (Fran Drescher) so there is a very good chance that I will actually be seen on camera... which is pretty fucking baller. Also... I might just be crazy (which is a very strong possibility) but at some points during the song I think that Vincent was looking at me. And, not gonna lie, it kinda made me melt.

Only really bad things were that it got SUPER cold out... and I was wearing this strapless dress they gave me. So that wasn't very fun. Also the dress was too big in the bust so I had to constantly pull it up so the girls didn't pop out.

There was this one really creepy old dude who was bothering me. I was sitting at a table with a group of girls (all about 20) and this guy in his 50's comes and sits right next to us... which was kinda weird. He also kept following us around all night. Just kinda weird.

Also night calls are just tough in general. You see the sun set and rise... and by the end of the night you just want to sleep and not deal with people. Although there was this one lady who, in the line to return wardrobe, would not shut up. She just went on and on about she should have been treated better on set and how she thought she was entitled to more or whatever and I wanted to punch her in the face. Seriously... as an extra you are entitled to shit, and at 5:30am I didn't want to listen to her bitch. She also had an obnoxious voice.

Adrian Grenier was kinda flirting with a couple of the extras on set... which was fun. I actually saw him staring at me twice which kinda made my night. But right before meal break he motioned for this one extra to come with him... and then no one saw her until she and him returned to set together. She was fixing her hair (which looked kinda messy) and adjusting her dress. So guess what they had been up to!

Overall though i did have a lot of fun on this shoot... and if I can I would work on this show again. Although I would bring a hoodie if it was another night call. It seriously got super super cold!

True Blood:

This was a 2 day shoot. Monday and Tuesday nights.

It took place at Warner Brothers studio. I could see the Warner Bros. water tower from our base camp for the shoot... which made me think of Animaniacs. This made me very very happy.

I was a guest a party. We were all kinda suppose to be hicks... so they dressed me a white trash with this awkward halter top and horrible horrible shoes (I got to wear my own skirt though which was nice).

I really don't have much to say about this shoot. It was cold... but I had a hoodie this time so it wasn't too bad. Sine we were in the "woods" (the Warner Brothers lot woods at least) there were some bugs around... and our holding wasn't the nicest.

It was just 2 very long nights. And as part of the set they had a table of crawfish (real ones not fake) so by the end of the shoot they stank!

Anna Paquin was on set... but she kinda kept to herself so I didn't really get to meet her or anything. Same with the rest of the cast. I did get to talk to the writer which was cool.

No vampires were involved in the scene so that was sad. All I did really was sit and then walk, sit and then walk. Not anything new or super exciting.

Tomorrow I am working on The Starter Wife.

Californication and My Name is Earl

Californication:

Worked this on Tuesday. It was pretty cool cause this is actually one of my favorite shows and the 4 main actors on the show were on set that day. They kind of ignored the extras, but that is to be expected. I was playing a catholic school girl, which was hilarious! They gave us a uniform: grey skirt (which was actually pretty short), white polo, blue sweater, knee high socks. I loved it. I would have kept it if I could. I have decided that I need to go out and buy some knee high socks cause they are bad ass. One of the girls had a camera and took pictures. I gave her my email so she could send some photos. If I ever do get them sent to me I will post them here.
So what I was doing was walking around outside the catholic school. Nothing big. I didn't really get to pick up on any plot points to the show either. Which I was kinda sad about. But I'm pretty sure that I will be seen on camera which is good.
There were a lot of minors on the set (13 year olds) being extras too and I was paired up with one of them on set for a while (we were walking partners... oh joy of all joys). She actually was a really sweet girl... loved Hannah Montana a bit too much, but what you gonna do. It just reminded me of what I did last summer. And how I never ever want to be a camp councilor ever again. EVER.
I will say that the Kraft service for that show was AMAZING. Krafty is going to make me gain so much weight this summer. But I don't care. It's amazing.
I would love to do that show again. The crew was really nice and not gonna lie our AD was pretty damn good looking.
Not  bad way to earn $60.

My Name is Earl:

This shoot was pretty different for me then Californication was. First the call was HUGE. There were at least 100 extras.

The first thing they had us do was be an 80's crowed at a basketball game watching Jenna Elfman (she was guest staring on the show) got attacked by a badger. It was pretty good times. Then we were a crowed watching a cheerleading competition that Earl danced in which was absolutly hilarious to watch. I loved it!

Then me and 4 other girls got pulled to be stand-ins for some of the actresses on the show. Stand-in are used to stand in for the actors while the crew sets up the shot. It's so they can get the correct camera angle and figure out the correct lighting for the scene. The when they are ready to shoot they replace the stand-ins with the actual actors.
The characters we were standing in for were "misfit cheerleaders". There was the pregnant cheerleader, a fat cheerleader, sassy cheerleader, and a cheerleader with headgear (this is the girl I stood in for). They had a few scenes with Earl and his brother, so when the cast was replacing us I kinda got to meet Jason Lee (Earl) and Ethan Suplee (Earl's brother) which was really cool. They both seemed like really funny really nice guys. Jason Lee was cracking jokes and goofing off all day, so that made the set a really fun one to work on. Also the scenes that we got to watch were hilarious. It's was really fun watching him work.
It was a long ass day though. I was there from 6:30am to 9:15pm. But because I was a stand-in I did get a higher base pay, and I got at least 3 hours of double time. Which means that I should have a decent sized check coming my way.
Also I got 3 meals at Kraft which, again, were fantastic.
I normally don't watch Earl... but I am going to keep an eye out for the cheerleader episode. I may or may not be seen on camera in this one (depends on the shots they use) but still it looked like a really funny episode and I want to see it. So if anyone who reads this (if anyone actually does read this) sees the Earl episode about cheerleading let me know!

Today I have a much needed day off, and tomorrow I a shooting Entourage. Then Monday and Tuesday I am working on a new Vampire show for HBO.

A much needed update

Sat:
I went to Six Flags with Lee. It was alright. It wasn't what I expected though. I think I had just heard too many great things about Magic Mountain so my expectations got built up too high, especially for X2.
We waited in line just under 3 hours to ride X2, which I had heard was the #1 steal coaster in the world. It was pretty good, but not waiting 3 hours in line good. Also the ride was under a minute long. Yes there was music in the ride and flames came up at one point, but still I was expecting the best thing ever, and it didn't deliver. It might have if it was just a little longer.
Also when you are standing in line for 3 hours, you kinda run out of things to talk about. So there was a lot of awkward silence. Or I was doing that thing that I do to get rid of awkward silence, I started rambling on and on and on about the stupidest things and asking really dumb questions about stuff that I don't even really care about.
AND while in line they played this commercial for the ride over and over and over again and by the time we got up there I wanted to kill whoever the guy talking was. I still do want to kill him. I will hunt him down, don't think I won't!
We went on a few other rides too: Viper (not the same as the one in Chicago), Ninja (not nearly as cool as the name implies), Batman (same as the one in Chicago... only the "cave leading up to this one was freezing instead of hot and sticky. Not sure which I prefer), and Scream.
Scream I think would have been the best ride we went on all day, except for one thing. I put my bag in these locker things. When we got off the ride the lockers were broken and it wouldn't open up and let me get my stuff. We ended up waiting over 45 min for someone to come and punch 3 numbers in so I could get my stuff and leave.
Lee and I were pretty pissed off by the end of this, so that ruined Magic Mountain all the more.
... also the Riddler ride (which looked AMAZING) was broken, which was another thing that sucked.

Sun:
Went to Santa Monica Beach. Good times.

Mon:
Today was a pretty amazing day. I called into Central Casting and got booked for tomorrow for Californication (which is one of my favorite shows and I am SO excited), then I went to register with LA Uncut. They are another casting service and one of the shows they cast for that is currently in production is Greek (yet another one of my favorite shows). I haven't booked a job on Greek yet, but there is a very good chance that I will get work with them.
Also I just booked a job on Entourage for Friday.
It was a good productive day :)

Telemete Games

I had my first shoot today. The whoring myself out as blurs in the background of movies and TV has officially begun.

Today I was shooting for Telemete Games. The location was in the mountains outside of Malibu by "the rock store" which is some sketchy little biker place. The production team never exactly told us what Telemete Games were... just that it something for French tv, either a commercial or tv show. So if you watch French TV... look for me?

They told us to dress European, because all Europeans dress alike. But they said Earth tones, layers, hoodies, etc. We get on the set and WAIT no brown and the shoot is suppose to take place in the summer time! (which actually makes sense because we were suppose to be Tour de France on lookers)

What I did today was wait 4 hours, then hold an English flag and wave it as some bikers passed. Then I waited some more. Then I waved the flag again. Then after a few more times of this we went to lunch.

After lunch we watched a biker ride his bike into a wall and look all concerned after.

Then we went down the hill again and watched bikers ride up and we cheered.

Long day (7:30a call time to 7:00pm), I got burnt, but got about $100 out of it.

Not bad.

Also met some cool people and got some advise on what to do out here.

I am super tired though.

1st shoot

I have a job in Malibu tomorrow.

More to come later.

Central Casting

Drove Kristin to work today on my way to Central Casting. I would just like to say that Culver city has NO gas stations. None. I could not find ANY. I had to drive super out of my way to find one (gas here by the way was $4.10 for regular, but there were a lot of place that were higher).

Got to Central Casting fine, parallel parked fine (I was super proud of myself cause I usually suck at this) and registered with them.

There is really no story there. Walked in, they told the group of us how to fill out our paper work, then we waited in line, turned in said paper work, got a photo taken, then left.

The only kinda cool thing was there was a casting director who needed some people for an Entourage shoot that day, so he pulled 2 girls from the line. I was not pulled as I was not dressed like I was going out clubbing or anything (aka I was not dressed like a whore).

So now in about an hour I call in and see if there are any jobs for me yet. If not I will call in later tonight.

Other then that not too much is up. I gotta go get Al's oil changed, then I need to get this Thomas Bros map book cause I guess they give direction based on that.

Also I would like to make brownies because they are all kinds of delicious.

update: So the people who lived in this apartment before left a Thomas guide. That is pretty fucking sweet if you ask me.

I feel like bragging

While in Santa Monica today I went into an American Eagle and found a pair of jeans on sale, but they only had them in a size 14 or a size 2. I tried the 2 on and they fit really well.

World: You should probably hate me.

Also while there I saw someone who kinda maybe sorta looked like Orlando Bloom... but I couldn't tell cause the guy had huge sunglasses on. Probably wasn't him. If it was there would have been a crowed of screaming fan girls. Or there would be the group of fan girls who tried to act cool, and just kinda quietly stalked him. I saw neither of these groups. Also he was with some homely looking chick.

Also I had this entire plan that by the end of the summer I was gonna be able to run from the apartment to the beach.... yeah. After driving down there today, I don't think that is gonna happen. 3 miles is a lot longer then you think it is.

If I get a bike... MAYBE I will try biking down there. But I am pretty lazy so it is kinda doubtful.

Long ass Day

2 nights ago I was hanging out with Lee and we decided to go to Santa Monica Pier. I realized I know nothing about this city, cause I didn't even know about the pier... or about anything else kinda fun to do in LA.

Anyway, as we were looking for parking for the pier (which we never found btw) Lee's engine light turned on, so we decided just to go back to his place and watch Grandma's Boy, which is a fucking amazing movie by the way. We also found this one show where they spray painted a poodle blue.

After the movie (and the blue poodle show... which was still on when the movie ended) we went to Lee's car so he could drive me home, but the car wouldn't start so I ended up staying the night.

The next morning we tried jumping the car... but the world decided that it hated us and that didn't work so we got the car towed to this place that Lee said was about 3 blocks from my place.

Lee is a liar.

It was more like 30 blocks.

We finally got to my place and played the Wii for a while (I kicked his ass in wii hockey by the way cause I am just that cool). Lee's car got fixed (cost him $500, so I felt super bad for him) and he took a cab to get him car.

I am driving from now on whenever we go places. It had been decided (even though I am a spazz when it come to driving... and other things)

After he left... I crashed for a while and then watched the new Wes Anderson movie. Not quite as good as Zissou, but still it was a really really great movie.

Today I'm going to Santa Monica to shop cause I finally have a car.

Central Casting will happen wed.

Good Times.

Studio City

The last few days I really haven't done anything except get food and run down Santa Monica (my goal for the end of the summer is to be able to run to the beach... not sure if that is going to happen as I am out of shape, but I can try).

Last night though we went to Studio City (the shopping center right outside of Universal Studios) to see Indiana Jones.

Stop reading if you haven't seen Indiana Jones and want to:

The movie was ridiculous. It was good at some parts and had the adventure that you expect in an Indiana Jones movie. But really, who thought it would be a good idea to have Indiana Jones deal with aliens? I was totally willing to go along with the film, until the alien part. Indiana surviving a nuclear bomb? Ok.  Shia LaBeouf is Indiana's long lost son? Fine. Crazy huge ants that eat people? Kinda cool.

But alien? No.

There were other problems with the movie too. The use and CGI animals was just stupid. For example when Shia LaBeouf was swinging through the trees with the monkeys. That didn't need to happen. And I have no idea what was with the prairie dogs in the begining. Oh George Lucas, why do you love  bad CGI?

It was a fun movie I guess, but no where near worth the $13 I paid for tickets.

Anyhoo nothing else is really going on.

I haven't been to central casting yet, but I'm going there Wed so it's all good. After this week more interesting things will happen cause I won't just be stuck in the apartment.

May 20th:
-We drove to Vegas and spent the night on the strip at the Monte Carlo. I liked Vegas. Looking around at everything was cool. Not being 21 sucks yet again cause I couldn't really do anything. Also we didn't see any shows, so other then walking through casinos there was nothing to do. Vegas was pretty dead that night anyways.
I did love the people on the streets handing out the flyers for hookers. That was super classy.

May 21:
-Got to LA. The apartment is super nice and it is furnished. I am sleeping on an air mattress in the living room... could be worse.
Didn't do much yesterday except unpack and go buy food.
I have no idea what we are going to do today... but tomorrow I think I am going to go over to Central Casting and sign up with them. Otherwise I have to wait for next Wed. I kinda just want to get everything started and not just sit here doing nothing.

The Oregon Trail

Today we drove just over 1000 miles from Chicago to Denver. It took us about 15 hours to get here.

I really don't have much to say about the drive. It wasn't the worst thing in the world. Although Nebraska sucks... hardcore. It just goes on and on.

The only thing that is in Nebraska besides massive amounts of cows, is Pioneer Village. There were signs for it 200 miles away from where it was.

We did not stop to see it because we are not that cool.

Driving out west reminds me of Oregon trail... this went along with the Pioneer Village thing. Although I have to say that Pioneer Village in Nebraska would suck because they weren't real Pioneers. They were wimps who gave up half way to Oregon or California or wherever they were going.

No one likes Nebraska.

Anyhoo, I always died in Oregon trail. I would make a family and make myself the daughter... and my character would always die of dysentery or get bit by a rattle snake.

I'm kinda hoping this doesn't happen on my mighty trip west.

I have already survived the mighty Mississippi, so things are looking good.

More good news is that we are currently in Denver by mountains, and tomorrow we will be driving through said mountains and going to Vegas.

Should be good time.

The Night before

Tomorrow morning (5:00am) I will be leaving for LA for about 2 and a half months.

Tomorrow my brother and I are driving to Denver. That is about 14 hours away. Tomorrow is going to suck. The next day we drive to Los Vegas, then the smog filled city.

I'm blogging to keep record of everything I do in LA. A lot of people have asked me to keep them posted and this is how I is gonna do it yo. Yeah, that's right, I be talkn' gangsta (or lolcat... take your pick).

I have nothing more to write about as I am still in Chicago. Hopefully something cool will happen tomorrow, otherwise it is just going to be one long ass drive.
